Caution

SSRIs deplete platelet serotonin and impair clotting; NSAIDs damage the gastric mucosa. Combined, they measurably increase the risk of upper gastrointestinal bleeding. This is a real and commonly missed interaction — worth raising with a prescriber if you take an SSRI daily and reach for ibuprofen often.
