Caution

MDMA can cause hyperthermia, dehydration and, rarely, rhabdomyolysis — all of which stress the kidneys. NSAIDs reduce renal blood flow, so ibuprofen taken to head off an MDMA comedown headache adds load exactly when the kidneys are least able to take it. Rehydrate rather than pre-dosing ibuprofen.
