Combination
Mixing Kratom and Methadone
OpioidOpioid
- Kratom also called
- mitragynine, mitragyna, mitragyna speciosa, krat
- Methadone also called
- dolophine, methadose, done
Verdict
Dangerous
Methadone's effects outlast its own high by many hours, so kratom taken later in the day lands on top of methadone that is still fully active. Additive respiratory depression with no reliable sense of how much is still on board.
Risk / Physical
The risk here is to the body — breathing, heart, temperature or organs. Set limits before you start, because this kind of harm does not announce itself in time to react.
