Dangerous
Lithium taken alongside classic 5-HT2A psychedelics is associated with seizures — in an analysis of user reports, 47% of lithium-plus-psychedelic cases involved a seizure and 39% required medical attention. Lithium is one of the clearest red-flag medications in psychedelic harm reduction. Do not combine.
This combination carries bodily risk and can go badly psychologically. The headspace part often arrives first and makes the physical part harder to notice.
