Verdict

Dangerous

Fentanyl sets the risk here and kratom does nothing to blunt it. Kratom's ceiling protects against kratom, not against a full agonist dosed in micrograms. Fentanyl now appears in the majority of kratom-positive overdose deaths, up from about a third in 2018 to over 60% by 2022 — that shift is about the supply, not about kratom.

Risk / Physical

The risk here is to the body — breathing, heart, temperature or organs. Set limits before you start, because this kind of harm does not announce itself in time to react.

Can you mix Fentanyl and Kratom?

High risk of death or life-changing injury. Do not combine.

Fentanyl
Synthetic — potent by micrograms, unevenly mixed
Kratom
Partial agonist — a ceiling other opioids do not have
