Mixing Benzodiazepines and Methamphetamine
- Benzodiazepines also called
- benzodiazepine, benzos, benzo, xanax, alprazolam, valium
- Methamphetamine also called
- meth, crystal, crystal meth, ice, tina, shard
Low risk, decreased effect
Commonly used to come down or sleep, and reasonably effective at it. Two cautions: benzodiazepines cause blackouts, so it becomes easy to lose track of further stimulant doses, and taking them before the meth has substantially cleared usually means taking more benzodiazepine than intended to get any sedation at all.
Can you mix Benzodiazepines and Methamphetamine?
Low risk of harm from the combination, but one substance is expected to blunt the other. Redosing to chase the missing effect is the usual way this turns dangerous.
- Methamphetamine
- Roughly twice as potent, and lasts three to four times as long

Checking more than two?
Combinations of three or more carry risks that no pair-by-pair chart can show. The checker rates every pair at once and flags the whole-mix ones on top.
